“Animals are innocent!”
Vegans claim that
This is not the case:
- Cats love to play with severly insured mice, tormenting them before they are dead,
- horses eat apples fallen down from the tree when they already have started to ferment to get drunk,
- lions kill the offspring of their rivals.
- fraud, theft and prositution amongst Capuchin Monkeys,1
- rape being a common practise amonst all kinds of animals,
- racism, war2 and torture amonst chimpanzee3 (sorry I have not found English sources yet),
- ants enslaving lice,
- …and many more.
It is naive to think that humans are worse than animals. There is good reason to assume that a world where not the Homo sapiens but any other species is the most powerful would not be a more peaceful one than ours.
