2010-05-26, animals are dying for iPhones!

Industry is always a good candidate for animal torture. Be it for meat, eggs, or honey, where thousands of our companion animals are being exploited in a cramped, unnatural device to steal them their hard earned food and replace it by sugared water.

Little is known, that animals also have to die for―consumer electronics.

The Chinese manufacturer Foxconn―producing for well known brands such as Dell, Sony, Hewlett Packard, and of course Apple―is now in the media for a scandal of the conditions the animals who produce all the goods we so much enjoy every day have to work under, in fact, they are so harsh that some of them even became suicidal or even did it, and actually Link: died for our new smart-phone & co.

For some strange reason however this has not led to an uprise in the vegan community yet (at least to none I ever heard of); maybe it has to do something with something George Orwell once wrote:

All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.

antivegan.at recommends these Chinese people to grow beady eyes and fur, maybe then they would get some vegan attention.
