I found a very interesting website recently,
carta.anthropogeny.org, where that “carta” stands for “Center for Academic Research and Training in Anthropogeny”, and anthropogeny is the discipline about the investigation of the origin of man.
The respective website is a very interesting compilation of comparisons between apes and one other ape species, us humans, and lists what we have in common and where the differences are.
For instance, in the
domain about
nutrition you find that a lot of hominids prefer fruits, but humans are less suited for digesting them than other apes,1 indicating against any vegan claim that humans were frugivores.
There is a lot of other interesting facts to be found there aswell, for instance, that we are physiologically adapted to cooked food,2 if you feel like reading an interesting book, it is surely a good idea to have a look at that website.
