Vegans usually don′t like “the industry”, but there are exceptions. One was Link: Alpro, a company selling the kind of lifestyle-junkfood veggies are so fond of, and they appear to really fit the vegan world view. Isn′t all they do just for a good cause? Just look at their website! I am sure it is run on a server entirely biodegradeable and runs with solar energy, ey?

Dean Foods Completes Acquisition of Alpro

DALLAS, July 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/―Dean Foods Company (NYSE: DF) today announced that it has completed the previously disclosed acquisition of the Alpro division of Vandemoortele N.V. for a transaction price of approximately euro 325 million.
