These “people for the ethical treatment of animals” in fact do things that do not seem adequate for the high moral standards they claim to have. As petakillsanimals.com discovered, they do not only give shelter to abandoned animals, they also, well, let′s quote petakillsanimals.com′s news from January 7th:
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, a group that complains bitterly when animals die accidentally in horse races or intentionally in slaughterhouses, killed more than 90 percent of the adoptable animals in its care during 2007.
90%. Ninety percent. Nine-ty per-cent. Nice going for an organisation that has the word “ethical” in its very name…
